O'my! Border Collies

Pop•tart is a beautiful black/white female from our amazing Cupcake (GCH CH O'My! Y'Wanna Piece Of Me RE AX AXJ CAA DCAT SWA SIE SEE SBE RATS DSA CGCA CGCU TKA, NW2) and our co-owned Buzz (O'my! It's Five O'Clock Somewhere CA NA OAJ DMA DE CGC TKN).

Pop•tart is the perfect blend of sugar and spice—outgoing, spirited, sweet, and just the right amount of sassy without the “salt”.  She’s nimble, athletic, and already turning heads with her natural talent, athleticism and upbeat personality. With a fabulous balance of toy and food drive (though a touch more toy drive than food drive), she’s quick, focused, and eager to learn. 

I’m thrilled that Pop•tart is staying here with us to be Dean’s next disc partner. She’s already showing immense promise in her disc foundations, with incredible focus, great work ethic, nice hops, and a ton of heart. She is willing to give anything a try. At just 6 months old, she found her sea legs and leapt confidently into her dock diving career—earning her Dock Senior title at her very first NADD event with a personal best of 18'11"! At 9 months, she’s already working her way into Masters, with natural tracking ability and strong toy tracking and commitment.

Pop•tart is also showing a real aptitude for scent work, much like her mother Cupcake, her full brother Flapjack, and their relatives before them. I’m incredibly excited about her potential across multiple venues—she’s the kind of dog who makes everything fun, with her bright personality and desire to please. She also has a strong natural off switch and has been such an easy puppy to raise, much like her brother.

PT's dam, Cupcake, is one of our exceptional Spryte daughters. A true all-arounder, Cake has excelled in multiple venues—finishing both her CH and GCH with back-to-back majors, including wins over Specials. Cupcake is also a talented scent work competitor with incredible drive, focus, and heart in everything she does.

Her sire, Buzz, is from our ReCon/Shine litter and is proving himself as a versatile competitor. Buzz’s sire, MACH2 ReCon, is a nephew to our late MACH Remedy RN MXS MJS NF, a 3× Skyhoundz World Champion, through his grandmother CH MACH Savannah PT (Remedy’s mother). Buzz’s dam, Shine, is another of our outstanding Spryte daughters, and she has proven herself in both the conformation ring and performance sports—with multiple Regular and OH Group placements, multiple Royal Canin honors (including AOM in 2021, Select in 2024, and BOB at the 2024 OH Series) and Regional/National placements in dock diving. This was a line breeding on our Spryte, who has been such an asset to our breeding program, and we love seeing what this cross produced so far.

I am very excited about Pop•tart and her brother, Flapjack, and can't wait to see what they do as they grow and start their chosen careers in dog sports.
